白米，紅米，糙米點食最好？White Rice v.s. Red Rice v.s. Brown Rice.
White rice is a day to day meal for most parts of Asia. But it is relatively high in sugar with less fiber. Red rice or brown rice are considered more healthy but most people think they taste dry and dull. Here is a healthier and easier way to eat rice.

An easy way to eat a balanced but yummy rice diet is to mix 3 parts of white rice with half part of red rice and half part of brown rice (feel free to add a bit more red or brown rice if you like, upto one part of each). Just mix them as soon as you bought the rice home so when you cook, just scoop out the mixture and cook as you normally would (you may want to add a little bit more water when you cook).
Here is my personal preference when choosing the brand of rice:
For white rice, I like those from Thailand (long grain). Japanese rice (short grain) is super yummy and soft but much more expensive.
For red and brown rice, I also like those from Thailand but see if you can find a brand that says “no need to soak in water before cook”. These are more convenient as you can just cook the rice mixture without much prep work.
